The OlyLife Binary Plan With a Worked Example
How the OlyLife binary plan works: two legs, PV, pairs, matching and carryover, with a step-by-step hypothetical example shown after the start-up cost.
The OlyLife binary plan is a team layout where every member has two sides, a left leg and a right leg. The plan pays bonuses on the product volume that flows into those legs, counted in a unit called PV.† This post explains the pieces in plain words, then runs one hypothetical example that starts with what it costs to begin.
The basics: legs, levels and PV
Four words explain most of the plan:
- Leg. Your team has a left side and a right side. Everyone placed below you sits in one of them.
- Level. A row of your tree. Level one has two spots right under you, level two has four, level three has eight, and so on.
- PV. Short for point value. Each eligible purchase earns PV equal to 75% of its price. Bonuses are worked out on PV, not on price.†
- Sponsor. The person who personally introduced someone. Your sponsor line and your placement can be different things.

How the OlyLife binary plan places people
Every new member is placed in one open spot in a tree, either on a left leg or on a right leg. One distributor guide says your first personally sponsored member goes on your left leg. People placed under you by members above you can also land in your legs, which distributors often call spillover.†
Sources differ on some of these details, so confirm them in your back office before you rely on them. Your sponsor helps decide placement there, which is why it is worth talking it through first.
What it costs before any bonus
Joining requires buying a device package. This site lists 4 packages, from $500 to $6,000, plus a region fee of 0% to 15% depending on where you live.† A Tera-P90 is $1,000 at list price. OlyLife's plan materials say there is no membership fee, no renewal fee, no autoship and no monthly volume requirement.
Cost comes first, so the example below starts there.
A worked example, step by step
Here is a hypothetical example for a member who joined with a Tera-P90 package.‡ Two people each buy a Tera-P90 through the plan. One sits in the left leg and one in the right. You personally introduced both.
| Step | What the plan does | Result |
|---|---|---|
| 1. Your start-up cost | You buy a Tera-P90 package | $1,000 |
| 2. PV of each purchase | 75% of the price | 750 PV |
| 3. Performance Bonus | 10% of the PV of each purchase you referred | $75 for each purchase |
| 4. Tier Bonus | The left and right purchases form a pair, and the plan pays 50% of the smaller side | $375 for the pair |
| 5. Wallet split | Each bonus is divided | 80% cash and 20% repurchase points |
The Performance Bonus pays only on purchases you referred yourself. The Tier Bonus pays when the first purchase on your left and the first on your right, on a new level, pair up. The amount a pair can pay is limited by the size of your own package. For a package the size of a Tera-P90 that limit is $375, the same as the example. Sources differ on this limit, so check it in your back office.
The repurchase points can only be spent on products. They cannot be cashed out.
This example shows how the plan counts. It does not predict anything. Without purchases in your legs, the plan pays no bonus at all.
Matching and carryover after level three
The second main bonus is the Group Sales Bonus. It counts volume from level 4 down, after the volume used for Tier pairs is taken out.† Each day the plan matches your two legs one to one. The weaker leg sets the pace, and you are paid a percentage of the matched volume. That percentage runs from 10% to 13% depending on your package.
Volume that does not match carries forward with no expiry. Each package also has a daily cap, and matched volume above the cap is not paid. Plan guides call this flushing. For a package the size of a Tera-P90 the daily cap is 1000 USD.
A small picture of matching: say the left leg adds four Tera-P90 purchases in a day and the right leg adds three. Each is 750 PV. The plan matches three purchases' worth of volume on each side. The extra purchase on the left, 750 PV, waits for the next day.
What the example leaves out
- The region fee you pay on top of the package price.
- Refunds. Bonuses are reversed when the related order is refunded, and a rank reached because of that order can be removed.
- Rule changes. OlyLife sets the plan, it can change, and it can differ by country.
- People. Every amount above needs someone to buy a device. The plan does not create those purchases.
