OlyLife Rank Names and What Each Rank Needs

OlyLife has a ladder of ranks that runs from M1 to M7. The OlyLife rank names start with 1 Star and end with Royal Crown President. You reach a rank when your team's total PV hits the same level on both your left leg and your right leg, and once you reach it, the rank stays yours.^†

A rank in Tera-P90 terms

Here is a hypothetical example to make the size of a rank easier to picture.^‡ A Tera-P90 is $1,000 at list price, and it counts as 750 PV. The first rank, 1 Star, needs 10,000 PV on each leg. That works out to about 14 Tera-P90 purchases on the left and about 14 on the right.

Purchases by everyone in a leg count: yours, the people you introduced, and the people placed below them. Still, the numbers show how much product volume each step asks for. Each higher rank needs far more.

How you move up the ladder

Four rules decide how ranks work:

• Both legs count. A rank needs its PV threshold on your left leg and on your right leg.
• It adds up over time. Volume is cumulative. There is no time limit, and it does not reset each month.
• Ranks are lifetime. Once reached, a rank is yours.
• Whoever referred it, it counts. Every eligible purchase placed in your left or right leg counts.

What a rank gives you: Global Pool shares

Each rank holds shares in the Global Pool. OlyLife describes the pool as 5% of company revenue, shared out once a year among rank holders by their shares. The formula in the plan guide reads: (Global sales x 5% / total shares) x your shares.^†

Two limits are worth knowing. OlyLife has not disclosed what one share is worth, so there is no dollar figure to quote. And the payout timing is an expectation, not a fixed date.

Is there anything else a rank brings? One source line says it plainly: "No car, travel or cash rank-advancement rewards were found in any source." A rank sets your pool shares and brings recognition at OlyLife events. It is not a salary.

Keeping your pool shares from year two

Your rank never expires. To hold your Global Pool shares from your second year, each rank has a yearly upkeep. The upkeep deadline is End of November, and there is no upkeep in your first year.^†

Common questions about ranks

Can I lose my rank? The plan materials say no. Ranks are lifetime. From year two, the yearly upkeep applies only to holding your Global Pool shares.

Is there a time limit to reach a rank? No. Volume adds up over time with no time limit.

Is a rank the same as a bonus? No. The six bonuses are worked out from product volume each day. A rank is a level that records your total volume on both legs. Its main link to money is the pool share it holds.

Do I need a rank to be paid? In the plan materials used for this site, the Performance Bonus and the Tier Bonus are not tied to a rank. Ask your back office to confirm how this works in your country.^†
