Frost Age Skin Care Device: Where It Fits in Your Routine

How the Frost Age skin care device works as a step in your routine: its EMS and RF modes, session plans, how to use it and what it comes with.

Frost Age is a handheld skin care device that comes inside the Tera-P90+ set. It uses EMS and RF modes. It is meant to be one more step in your skin-care routine.

This post is about how it fits into a routine, not about results. I will not promise what it will do for your skin, and neither should anyone selling it.

Frost Age comes in the Tera-P90+ set, beside the foot unit.

What the Frost Age skin care device is

Frost Age is a beauty device with a handheld shape. According to OlyLife's product information, it combines PEMF, Terahertz, EMS, RF (1 MHz).

The two modes you pick between are:

  • EMS, short for electrical muscle stimulation
  • RF, short for radio frequency

OlyLife describes it as made for face, neck and décolletage routines. The areas it lists are Forehead, Cheeks, Full face, Neck, Décolletage.

The session plans

Frost Age has three set plans. You choose one at the start.

PlanMinutes
EMS then RF10 + 10
EMS only20
RF only20

"EMS then RF" runs one mode, then the other. The other two plans use a single mode for the whole session. Pick the plan that fits the time you have.

Where Frost Age fits in a skin-care routine

Most people already have a simple routine. Frost Age is an extra step, not a replacement. Here is one way to picture it, which is my own idea and not an OlyLife rule:

  1. Cleanse your face as you normally do.
  2. Use Frost Age on the area you plan to work on, following the manual and your chosen plan.
  3. Finish with the products you usually use.

Follow the user manual that comes with the device for how to use it, including order, time and technique.

How to use it

The user manual that comes with the device is the guide for how to use Frost Age, including how to prepare the skin and how to finish. I do not rewrite those steps here. Read the manual before your first session, and ask me if anything in it is unclear.

What to know before you buy

You cannot buy Frost Age on its own. It comes only as part of the Tera-P90+ set. That set also includes the foot platform and the Revitaluxe massager.

If skin care is your main reason for looking, ask yourself if the rest of the set also suits you. You will own a foot device and a body massager too. If you only want one thing, this may not be the best fit.

Frost Age uses electrical and radio-frequency modes. The same do-not-use list applies as for the other OlyLife devices, including implanted electronic devices and pregnancy. Please read the Safe use page and talk to your doctor first if any of it applies to you.

How Frost Age compares with Revitaluxe

The other handheld in the set is the Revitaluxe massager. They share the set, but they are two separate items that do different jobs and suit different people.

If you are mostly interested in the skin-care step, remember that you are also buying the foot platform and the massager. The Revitaluxe has its own page with the details.

Questions to ask yourself before you buy

  1. Do I already have a skin-care routine I keep up with?
  2. Would I use a handheld device on my face, or would it stay in the box?
  3. Do I also want the foot platform and the massager?
  4. Does anything on OlyLife's do-not-use list apply to me?
  5. Do I know which version suits the power outlets in my country?

If you answered yes to the first three, the set may suit you. If the fourth is a yes, talk to your doctor first.

Questions people ask

Is it a medical device? No. OlyLife devices are general wellness products.

What does a session cost? The set has a one-time price of $1,500.* Once you own it, there are no per-session fees.
